Local bricklayers
Based in St Albans, working across the region
Working close to home means we can get out to see your project, talk it through properly and give you a clear, no-obligation quote. We work for homeowners, on new build houses and on insurance repair work, including smaller repairs.
Wherever you are in the area, the standard is the same. We set out carefully, keep joints neat and consistent, and leave your property as tidy as we found it.

Local knowledge
Brickwork that suits your home
Good brickwork should look as though it belongs. Before we start, we look at the bricks, bond and mortar already on your property, so that extensions, repairs and new walls blend in rather than stand out.
On older properties that can mean using lime mortar where it's appropriate, so the walls can breathe as they were built to. On newer homes it means accurate, consistent brickwork laid to the drawings.
Period properties
Victorian and Edwardian terraces, cottages and older brick homes. We match bricks and bond as closely as we can, and use lime mortar where the building calls for it.
Modern homes & new builds
Extensions to newer houses and brickwork for new build homes, set out accurately and laid with clean, consistent joints from the footings up.
Gardens & boundaries
Garden walls, piers, planters and boundary walls built to suit the house and the street, whether that means crisp new brick or a weathered look that blends in.
